Puppy Foundations (approximately 8 weeks to 6 months)

The early months of a puppy’s life are critical for building confidence, clarity, and healthy habits. Puppy private lessons focus on guiding both you and your puppy through new experiences in a calm, structured way.

Rather than rushing obedience, sessions prioritize communication, engagement, and setting expectations that prevent future behavior challenges.

Puppy lessons may include:

• Name recognition and engagement

Private lessons for adolescent and adult dogs focus on strengthening obedience, improving leash skills, and building reliability in real-world environments. These sessions are ideal for dogs who need clearer communication, better structure, or support working through unwanted behaviors.

Training is customized to your dog and your lifestyle, with a focus on consistency and follow-through.

Lessons for dogs 6 months and older may include:

• Loose leash walking and engagement

• Sit, down, place, and recall

• Impulse control and boundaries

• Working around distractions

• Addressing nuisance behaviors such as jumping or pulling

These lessons help dogs learn how to make better choices while helping owners feel confident handling their dog day to day.
